Covenant Prayers to pray this week…and you can invite others to pray with you!! Come boldly to God’s throne praying His Word.

Morning Covenant Prayer

Proverbs 6: 16, 17b,19a

These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him…
A lying tongue…
A false witness who speaks lies…

Father,

You are truth. Your Word is completely true. It is impossible for You to lie. (Numbers 23:19)

You list in Proverbs 7 things that You hate and 2 of the 7 are lying: lying lips and a false witness who spreads lies.

Make _____  and each of us into people of integrity in all ways—big and small. Empower each to put falsehood far away. Create in each a clean heart and a right spirit that rejoices in the truth to Your glory.

In the Name of Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life,

Amen

Noon Covenant Prayer

1 John 4:1

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Precious Father,

Send Your Holy Spirit powerfully upon _____ to unshackle them from the strongholds of deception. Restore their souls so that they can now understand and accept truth and reject and be cleansed of all deception and lies.

Empower each to build their lives on truth and teach each to test every spirit to determine whether or not it is from You. Give wisdom.

Hallelujah! You are the Lord, forever true!

In the Name of Jesus, mighty warrior, always faithful and true,

Amen

Evening Covenant Prayer

Jeremiah 17:9

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Father,

You tell us that the human heart is deceitful and desperately sick and then you ask us who can understand it?  Knowing that to be true, we rejoice that You create and give new hearts and right spirits!!

Show ______  the blackness in his or her heart and give each the desire for a clean heart and a right spirit. That was the prayer You gave to King David for himself and we pray that it would be the individual prayer of each of these that we have lifted to You.

Your Word tells us that people of integrity walk securely. (Proverbs 9:10) Make it so in these lives and in our lives.

In the Name of Jesus, forever faithful and true
