Morning Covenant Prayer

Proverbs 12:22 – Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.

  • Zechariah 8:16–17 – Speak the truth to one another… do not love a false oath, for all these are things that I hate, declares the Lord.

Lord God,

You have commanded us not to steal, deal falsely, or lie to one another. You delight in truth, and lying lips are an abomination to You. Cleanse our hearts and tongues and those of _____  so that our words bring You joy. May honesty flow from each of us in every conversation.

Empower our lives to reflect Your truth. Teach us to walk in integrity, so that we may be a delight in Your sight.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, truth,

Amen.

Noon Covenant Prayer

·        John 8:44 – You belong to your father, the devil… he is a liar and the father of lies.

·        Colossians 3:9 – Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices.

Lord Jesus,

You revealed that the devil is the father of lies, and that deceit belongs to the old self.

By Your Spirit, empower ______  to put off falsehood and embrace new life in YOU.

Guard each from the enemy’s deception and strengthen each to speak truth to everyone, always.

Cause the words of each to build up the body of Christ, and may their testimonies shine with Your light.

In the Name of Jesus, light, and truth,

Amen

Evening Covenant Prayer

Revelation 21:8all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

Holy God,

Your Word warns that all liars will face judgment in the lake of fire. We tremble at this truth, yet we rejoice that You offer salvation through Christ.

Empower ______    to walk in the freedom of Your truth. Let lying and deceit be so burdensome that such a choice would no longer be an option for them or us. Purify all of our lips, guard our hearts, and cause our lives to bear witness to Your righteousness until the day we see You face to face.

In the Name of Jesus, in whom is nothing false,

Amen.
